REALTORS® OPEN UP THOUSANDS OF DOORS TO BUYERS
On September 15th and 16th, the Realtors® of the Palm Beaches & Greater Fort Lauderdale (RAPB + GFLR) will host their 3rd Open House Weekend event this year. This event will bring consumers from all over South Florida & the Treasure Coast to open houses in their backyard. Ultimately, leading them one step closer to achieving the American Dream, homeownership!
RAPB + GFLR resurrected the Open House Weekend concept from the National Association of Realtors® (NAR). The goal is to turn NAR’s National Open House Weekend into a localized event. This event takes place once every quarter, helping Realtors® drive more traffic to their listings.
Open House Weekend is taking place thanks to the sponsorships of Realtor.com, D.R. Horton, and ShowingTime.
Open House Weekends have been a major success! The last Open House Weekend in July had over 1,500 listings participate, which was 300 more than the first quarter. RAPB + GFLR anticipates over 6,000 total listings to be a part of this event by the end of the year.
Realtors® are given the opportunity to advertise at a discounted rate in newspapers like the Sun-Sentinel, The Palm Beach Post, and TC Palm. They can also pick-up specially made balloons to draw attraction to their open houses, choose from customized profile picture frames on Facebook, and share flyers, banners, and numerous social graphics.
Also, 3 buyers & 3 Realtors® will have a chance to win a $100 Visa Gift Card. The Realtors® must register their buyers on the Open House Weekend website and if their buyers win, then they win too! Winners will be announced on September 21, 2018.
